Just before joining Hilton, Mirza was a senior executive inside the travel and transportation practice at Accenture. Before Accenture, Mirza was head of strategic planning at Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, where he was accountable for brand positioning, development planning and business innovation. Mirza started his career at First Financial, Inc. and opened the initial U.S. office servicing corporate high net-worth clients. His consulting background includes several years of project management knowledge about Deloitte/Braxton Associates in the regions of value-based management, growth strategy and globalization.
Mirza was subsequently a senior principal at Strategos, an innovation consultancy where he worked with management teams inside the luxury hospitality, travel, consumer and asset management industries within the parts of customer strategy, new product development and service innovation. Mirza holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, with a focus on brand marketing and corporate strategy.
